		Literature Committee
		Hello everyone! This is a shout out invitation to become a part of one of the important General Service Committees. If your Group doesn’t already have a Literature Person, I would be happy to come by and bring some free AA Conference Approved literature and explain more about electing one. We are here to help any Group in the District that may not have AA Conference Approved Literature and if possible give them a Big Book and any other AA literature they may need to get them started. One of my tasks as a GSR is to help clarify any questions you or your Group may have regarding the difference between AA Conference Approved Literature and Non AA Literature. Also as part of the General Service Structure, we work very closely with some of our other District Service Committees: PI (Public Information) and CPC (Cooperation With The Professional Community) by providing filled Literature Racks, Newcomer Packets, and Meeting Directories. We also provide Literature to our local libraries as well as a variety of other Agencies and Facilities. Currently we have a large number of them all over the Community that we restock. We always need the help of members to assure that we respond as soon as possible to any requests. By your helping out with that response you are reaching out to the newcomer even before they reache the doors of AA.
